My name is Denise Mainusch. I love my Catholic faith and I love sharing it with young  people.  I have been in education for more than thirty years.  I received a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from Rivier University. I’ve been the Junior High Theology  teacher here at SJRS since the Fall of 2015.  I also  coordinate the school wide service projects and liturgical services. I’ve had positions in both public and Catholic schools: Special education, primary grades and parent education. Prior to my position at SJRS, I coordinated the Prek-8 Faith Formation at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Concord,NH. This was where I discovered my love for sharing the Faith with middle schoolers.  One day I was telling God that I wish I could have more time with this age group and still have contact with the elementary  age group. It wasn’t too long after that  my current position became available.  Quoting  a Religious Sister who was dear to me, “Ain’t God grand!”.

I’m married. We have one daughter, who attended Jr. High at St. John’s. During my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends biking and exploring the wilderness. I love to garden, cook and crochet and share the bounty of these activities.
